About BULS

Beechworth Urban Landcare and Sustainability love planting trees, building nesting boxes, swapping seeds in order to beautify Beechworth, create habitat for wildlife and hold working bees for the community to engage in our environment. We are a community driven, not for profit group under the auspice of Landcare Australia Inc. BULS is run by a volunteer committee, and we’d love for you to join us.

We’re independent and community focused, and our goal is to create a supportive culture for understanding, inspiration, action and hope from which the wider Beechworth community can grow a sustainable future together.

Through our events and projects we have made significant contributions to the future sustainability of our region winning numerous awards along the way.

All BULS members are welcome to attend committee meetings as an observer. These meetings are generally held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at Bunya House in Ford Street Beechworth commencing at 7 PM.

Ideas from members are always welcomed!

To add an item to the agenda for discussion at meetings, please contact our Secretary  secretary.buls@gmail.com

We encourage you to become an active part of the committee. Consider nominating at the next AGM for an executive or general role. We are always looking for passionate, energetic and committed people. The BULS AGM is typically held in September each year, members will be advised of the date, place and are encouraged to attend.
