BULS (Beechworth Urban Landcare & Sustainability) is delighted that Dr Pieter Mourik, AM, a Wooragee local, is presenting in Beechworth on the topic ‘Ring Trees.’

Ring Trees are those that have been “manipulated” by the original Traditional Owners of this Country and the age of known ring trees may be up to 1000 years old.

The prediction is “once you have identified (the Ring Trees), you will see them everywhere.”

Come along to learn where some of our Ring Trees are and to share in Pieter’s enthusiasm for these are highly culturally significant trees.
